With what happened this weekend, I went to wwe.com today and ordered a "License to Steal" Eddie Guerrero t-shirt. I have been a wrestling fan for most of my life and this will be the first wrestling t-shirt I've ever bought.

The truth is, most wresting t-shirts don't look very good and are embarrassing to wear in public, but there are a few do look pretty cool.

Do any of you own any wrestling t-shirts that you proudly wear in public?

P.S. I also ordered a Cactus Jack "Wanted: Dead" t-shirt as well today in order to get free shipping.

I own a couple of shirts, but I gave a lot away a few years back when I realized that walking around with a "SCU Stone Cold University" shirt just kind of made me look retarded.

Nowadays I'll wear my ROH shirt out, and I'll wear the old Sting shirt with just the scorpion on it, no other markings or anything else.

I've never understood why they don't sell things that could possibly appeal to someone who is not either 8 years old or a gigantic mark. I mean, I look at all the shirts at places like Urban Outfitters, and I think how they could crack that market. Like the Carlito shirt. They could have sold the blue shirt with the apple-face and people who had no idea who he was would buy it, but they had to slap the HUGE-text slogan on the back, which just makes it go from snarky to stupid.

I used to proudly wear my ECW: Join the Revolution T-Shirt in public, but I either grew or it shrunk (I grew) and it just sits in the bottom of my dresser. That drawer also holds a Brian Pillman T-Shirt (the one made after he died) and a Bob Backlund for Congress T-Shirt (made to look like a bow tie and suspenders) he personally autographed years ago. Neither one has been worn outside of my house in many years.

I bought an "APA: Dont take this ass whipping personally" shirt about 5 years that doesnt fit anymore, and I bought a "Put a little SMACKDOWN! on it" t-shirt in 2002 WWF-NY. It still fits, but I dont wear it anymore.

And *ditto* on most wrestling shirts either being to embarassing to wear, or just plain not my style. I'm just not into the black heavy metal looking concert shirts, and thats what most of them are.

You're very, very right. There are shirts right now (like the Carlito shirt, or the Matt Hardy shirt with the red logo on the front) that I'd buy if ALL they had was the logo, but no, they have to put stupid crap on the back of every shirt and wreck it. Oh well, their loss.

To answer the question, like everyone else here, I got rid of my wrestling shirts when I wrecked them, I got too fat for them, they became too dated, or I just decided that they looked retarded. The only one I kept was an EC F'N W shirt that I might wear to a wrestling show, but that'd be it. It's really just something I like to hold onto for the memories and the novelty value.

I've got a Kurt Angle "SUBMIT" shirt, a La Parka shirt, and a shirt with the Crazy Max logo on it. I wear them all in public; the La Parka one looks more like a Mexican horror movie shirt and the Crazy Max one is even less obvious.

I've only had a few over the years:

-EC F'n W knockoff (logo melted in the dryer)
-3 Austin 3:16 knockoffs (All ugly.)
-Jericho "King of the World" (shrunk to unwearable size))
-Hurricane "I have issues" comic cover shirt (the only one I still wear)

I'm wearing my "It's True, It's True" Kurt Angle shirt right now (his first, IIRC.)

I also had the first Benoit shirt (with the broken bone on the front,) the first APA shirt, the classic WWF Attitude shirt (that the cameramen wore) and I believe one of Rock's shirts, though I can't remember which.

Back when wrestling was cool I had at least a couple of shirts. I remember having the original DX shirt (sans s*ck it on the back) and an Austin shirt and/or sweathirt, I believe with a skull of some sort on it.

I've got EC F'N W and not that it's really a wrestling shirt, but also the Celebrity Deathmatch shirt with Austin holding a skeleton and "Gimme a Hell Yeah" on the back.

I wanted to pick up a Victim of the Crossface, but never got around to it. Also the more recent one for Angle that says "America Needs a Hero" almost got purchased.

I own a classic DX shirt (with the SUCK IT) on the back, and an original nWo shirt...but both are in really bad condition. I'm trolling ebay for another few.

If we want to talk about shirts we WANT...there's that Hollywood Hogan shirt with the Hogan mustache on a skull that I always wanted. I'm also looking for that greenish CAPTAIN CHARISMA shirt, as well.

I have the Rey Mysterio tattoo long sleeve t-shirt, which i wear often. Hardly anyone knows what it is and it doesn't bother me to have MEXICAN on my stomach despite clearly not being Mexican.

If they'd ever sold the CAPTAIN CHARISMA shirts over here i'd pretty much never wear anything else.

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"I have no reason left to live. Now where the hell does this 7 go?" (Spank E)

Just two, and I only know where one is.

* Kurt Angle's "SUBMIT"
* Sting, from the surfer era (buried somewhere in the dining room)

I do wish someone had the "Eddie Guerrero Is My Favorite Wrestler" shirts (WCW-era). The WWE'd "Cheat 2 Win" just isn't the same... I prefer my catchprases to contain no numbers.

I've got two Edge & Christian shirts from 2001, the yellow one that says "So reeking of awesomeness" and the red Charlie's Angels style with the five second pose.

I've also got a long sleeve Armageddon 2002 shirt with Torrie Wilson on the front. I answered a trivia question at the movie theater.

I wear them all from time to time.

I've got that Kurt Angle "IT'S TRUE IT'S TRUE" shirt, plus the very cool "Three 'I's In Team" Team Angle shirt from early 2003. Plus, the only legitimately cool wrestling t-shirt of all time - the coveted Kaientai EVIL shirt. Indeed.

No t-shirts, but I've got a 619 headband and a Hogan bandana that are in my regular gym headgear rotation.

I've got an EC F'N W shirt that I spent my entire allowence on back in 95. It's old, gray, and moth eaten, but still in my closet.

I think I still got a yellow Razor Ramon "Oozing Machismo" shirt boxed up somewhere.
