I do try to pick up halibut or mahi-mahi every so often, but it's hard to get a decent quality of fish here in steak-loving Alberta. More often than not, it ends up being pre-packaged stuff. In my parents' hometown (Cape Town, South Africa), you can buy a fish directly off the boat, then walk across the parking lot directly to a restaurant where they'll do it up for you.
