|Given that my grandfather raised a family of nine working as a full-time fisherman, I am a bit of a disappointment with how little fish I eat. |
I do try to pick up halibut or mahi-mahi every so often, but it's hard to get a decent quality of fish here in steak-loving Alberta. More often than not, it ends up being pre-packaged stuff.
In my parents' hometown (Cape Town, South Africa), you can buy a fish directly off the boat, then walk across the parking lot directly to a restaurant where they'll do it up for you.

While I admit I used to like the taste of the original All-Bran "twigs," nothing went soggier faster. And soggy All-Bran is not a good thing.
