Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?
A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

Ah, yes, "Danger at the Door." I would kill for D'Lo to use that theme again - and the old-school version of it, with its "There's a new sheriff in town/His partner's Mr. Henry, you call him Mr. Brown"). The version that showed up on "WWF - The Music, Vol. 4" just doesn't quite measure up to the old version.
Edit: ObligOnTopic - Color me glad to see D'Lo back on TV again. I still remember seeing him live at Armagaddeon '99, and being the only wrestler during the three-way for the European Title whose name the crowd was chanting.

| #7 Posted on 24.4.02 1955.26 | Yeah, that man needs his old music, not the version he had with Chaz as part of Lo Down either. I don't mean the Indian music, I mean Danger at the Door, the Chaz remix. The Volume 4 version wasn't bad and the only version with Henry I can remember was off of WM 2000 for N64. I think they messed around with it, though.
My favorite D'Lo moment was at a Smackdown taping in August 2000 in Worcester, Mass. Him and Chaz had a match with Al Snow and Just Joe. At this point, Lo Down were heels and me and my friend started chanting D'Lo's name while everyone else was telling him how much he sucks. Anyways, we were on the floor just a few rows from the front so I guess he must have heard us because he stared right at us and gave us this wicked dirty look, almost as if he was pissed because we were cheering him even though he was suppose to be a bad guy. Good times...

Yes, that's one of the perks of being lucky enough to be in the first few rows at live event. Last fall, my friends and I went to a Smackdown taping in Dayton, OH and managed to get third row tickets (which is another story in and of itself). There was a dark match between Justin Credible/Chavo Guerrero and Kaientai. My friends started a "Jus-tin Ass-hole!" chant when the arena was dead quiet, and Justin, who was on the apron, swung his head around and looked right AT us, with a surprised look on his face. He turned back to the match, but we could tell he was trying to keep from busting out laughing. | The Goon

I was a little disappointed.
But the crowd seemed to be pretty lively for D-Lo and Raven, which was neat to see.

| #14 Posted on 28.4.02 2055.47 | I enjoyed Heat. We got another round of Stevie Richards/Raven, that was a deceant match. Eddy and D'Lo was a good WWF television match as well. D'Lo hit one hell of a crazy move on Eddy there in the middle of the match.
I like the format of this show. I thought they were still doing Heat with guest stars and WWF NY. I liked the whole B feel and seeing some actual matches. I actually might be inclinded to start catching more Heat if the show has actually moved away from it's old format.

Excellent match (D'Lo vs Eddie). I too, liked that move he did. Don't really know how to describe it though.

I think I know the move you're taking about. He held Eddie up like he was going for a fallaway slam, but then spun him around into a Bossman Slam. Cool stuff.

Damnit, I must have turned my head for a second and missed a D'Lo legdrop! Oh yeah, there was some head bobbing action as he went to the turnbuckles, too, to start the match. D'Lo is back baby! Now, if someone can just convince him that purple really isn't his color...
