Has anyone tried to fix their own smartphone screens? I have a couple with cracked glass, and the only time I tried to do it was on an old beater phone. A Droid Maxx is a completely different beast, though. The only thing I'm really worried about is the adhesive and trying to heat it up to get everything loose. What should I use for this?

There's also AVG Free, Avira, and Avast for some free anti-virus, anti-spyware offerings. I've loaded the AVG Free on my home laptop and it's worked just fine.
