Has anyone tried to fix their own smartphone screens? I have a couple with cracked glass, and the only time I tried to do it was on an old beater phone. A Droid Maxx is a completely different beast, though. The only thing I'm really worried about is the adhesive and trying to heat it up to get everything loose. What should I use for this?

While all of these suggestions sound good and we dd try all of them, the issue still remains that it is happening on the desktop and one laptop school) but not on a third laptop. From the desktop, I can access my work's email server and google.
