You know, I was going to reply with my favorite crazy quote from the rant, but couldn't find just one.
The whole thing is NUTS. Maybe a standout was the part about him being morally upstanding, then talking about "ripping fresh ass" in the very next sentence.

Dwight Schrute: Through concentration, I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will.
Pam Beesley: Why would you wanna raise your cholesterol?
Dwight Schrute: So I can lower it.

One word...

WOW!!!

Big Show: Why is he getting the Intercontinental Title shot and not me?
RVD: Ahhh...maybe 'cause you're a tool.
Big Show: Look. I am 7'2". I am 500 pounds. I'm a giant.
RVD: Oh ok. You're a giant tool.

Ironically, this is the same argument we use to get CRZ to write and post recaps again. Come on, RAYMOND STEREO is in the title hunt!

Warrior ...but if I was to die anytime too soon, Ultimate Warrior would be the Elvis of Sports Entertainment. It'd be GOD-like.

Right up until the time the midget in face-paint runs top speed down the ramp and face first into the apron. Or Vince McMahon's bare ass. Then it'd be FANTASTICAL

I dunno, at least I could understand some of it for a change-- talking about lawsuits, intellectual property and his history with his ex-wife. Usually he just strings together about two dozen made-up words and calls it a post.

That being said, he's still nuts.

Let this Warrior Writer post stands as an testimonial to the fact that I am a pro-wrestler -- albeit, former -- losing in my quest to find a budget hotel room on a sombering starlit night that coincides with an overwhelming celestial desire to OD.

I believe that was a failed attempt to sarcastically convey that despite what WWE might say about his "self-destruction," he's an incredible physical and mental specimen who would have no reason to end it all. Uh, I think.

(I thought it looked familiar...)

I couldn't read his nonsense; gave me a headache. I can tell you from personal experience that acting like a smarty-pants does not ever win you any friends. Even if you are right, everybody will still hate you. (You may be right, BUT SO WHAT!) And he isn't always right. And almost nobody will have the patience to read what you write when you choose to write like that. What is the point if almost nobody chooses to read your opinions?

He's not out to win friends, though. His argument would probably be that this would "weed out" lesser minds. You either agree with him or you're wrong, that is the overly simplistic worldview he chooses to live by. I personally love reading his nonsense even though I disagree with about ninety-nine percent of it, including his refusal to properly utilize punctuation.

I understand what you're saying, but I don't think being articulate is necessarily a sign of insecurity, or that everyone who is verbose is unworthy of reading.

Actually, I totally agree with you. I made the mistake of trying to read his material on several occations, and I just needed to vent some fustration. I think his writting is more than just him trying to be being articulate, though. There is articulate, and then there is the Warrior.

And it is not like he is *always* wrong. There is a bit of truth in a surprising amount of what he says. But sometimes it is a shame that it gets lost in his writting. Also, it is kinda hard to respect the opinions of a person of whom you know probablly will never ever EVER(!) even listen to, much less respect, any opinion different than his own. (I think that part of the Warrior's writting problems stem from the fact that many readers instictively sense a certain amount of meanness in what he writes. But that is just my opinion.)

[I realize that this has already been debated on this website; I will shut up now. When I was younger, *I* was the little-miss-smarty-pants; another regret from my youth.]

I actually took it to be a shot at wrestlers who have been found dead of overdoses in hotel rooms in the past.
