I'm at my all-time high with this one. Weighing in at 207 Lbs. Yikes! For those that know me...that's a lot!. When I first got started with knocking the wife up I was at a cool 168 Lbs.
Aidan AKA #1 - Gained 15 lbs, lost 10.
Noah AKA #2 - Gained 25 lbs, lost 9.....yeah this one was bad and really lead to me creating some bad habits of adding that extra item at Jack in the Box (frigging stuffed jalapenos!)
Emma AKA #3 Due Next Month - So far gained 18 lbs. Although the weight gain isn't as high as the other two, I'm now close to or at being obese at 207 lbs & BMI. At 5'10" this weight is not healthy!
I used to laugh at "Sympathy Weight" I get it now. I'm not really displaying a sense of sadness or empathy with the pregnancy. It's more about the wife wanting a sundae from Baskin & Robbins. When she wants one, well, I might as well get one for me. Since I'm there I might as well get some for me, have a two scoops to her one and add some more sugary toping...Ugh.
Looks like I have some exercising to do! So how much did you gain?
Edit..Never added my sympathy weight gain... actual lbs gained with three kids is currently 39 lbs.
The pregnancy didn't cause me any sympathy weight gain, but that was in part because she avoided anything she read even a hint about being bad during preganancy(which included ice cream(raw eggs) and chocolate). Then she had a slight case of gestational diabetes which kept her even more strict on her diet.
Not to say I wasn't gaining a little weight at the time, but that was more due to getting past the 30 mark and the body slowing down. Changed the eating and exercise habits a couple years ago to fix that issue, and then had myself fixed so no sympathy weight issues for me past or future to worry about.

We are two days away from my wife's due date, and that's pretty much where I'm at. No greater weight gain that life has been giving me the last few years on average.

I gained more weight after our son was born. I'm a pretty scheduled guy, and getting thrown out of that schedule had me eating a lot of crap at different times.
$100 at the $10 blackjack tables at New York New York in Vegas, back in January 2001. Then they changed dealers on me. Didn't take that as a sign...I should've. Final toll: I lost $10.
