Who thought up this torture-fest ? I only saw the last contestant but she was screaming in pain between her wrong answers - too bad it wasn't live. I'll probably watch this "car-wreck" of a show again just out of morbid curiousity. It beats watching Vince & Steph on the mic any day.

What I don't get is the stingyness. The first contestant got $14,000 for answering questions right in a torture chamber. On who wants to be a millionaire you're pretty much guaranteed 32 grand unless you're a complete idiot.
"Excuse me, do you have any EuroDisney T-Shirts?" January 2nd, 2002. Paris, France. My proudest moment.
I still cant understand A) Why there are two new shows surrounding sitting or being in a chair type thing, unnder *pressure*, and answering questions, and B) what the difference between 'The Chamber' and 'The Chair' is.
"an eye for an eye" that's my stance on punishment... stupid "Cruel and unusual punishment" can be used to knock down any punishment other than what is "usual" now...just need a judge that can turn it around for us
