Who thought up this torture-fest ? I only saw the last contestant but she was screaming in pain between her wrong answers - too bad it wasn't live. I'll probably watch this "car-wreck" of a show again just out of morbid curiousity. It beats watching Vince & Steph on the mic any day.

What I don't get is the stingyness. The first contestant got $14,000 for answering questions right in a torture chamber. On who wants to be a millionaire you're pretty much guaranteed 32 grand unless you're a complete idiot.

I still cant understand A) Why there are two new shows surrounding sitting or being in a chair type thing, unnder *pressure*, and answering questions, and B) what the difference between 'The Chamber' and 'The Chair' is.
