Anyone here on the board watch this show?

In case you haven't, it's on Showtime. It stars Michael C. Hall from Six Feet Under. He plays a forensic analyst specializing in blood splatters. He's got a girlfriend, a good job, and an adopted sister who loves him a lot. Oh yeah, and he's a serial killer.

The show is very well done, with a great supporting cast. If any of you have Showtime On Demand, I wholly recommend catching up on the show and watching it. There are only a few episodes left before the finale, so I'd hurry up if I were you!

Haven't gone out of my way to watch it, but it's a great show. Very nicely done, although I haven't read the books.

I have watched the first 2 episodes On Demand and like it so far. A very unique hero, and show, to say the least. I hope to catch a few more this weekend.

Wow, that is exactly what I have done so far. I watched two episodes on Showtime On Demand a while back. I really liked it, although the second episode was very close to the first in tone and story. It obviously didn't hook me to the point that I had to watch the next show, but I believe that I will get to it eventually.

The show really builds steam with the Ice Truck Killer toying with Dexter. All of the false leads and twists are really good. Plus, stories involving the other officers are also very good. They've mangaged to put together a really great cast. This last week's episode was incredibly disturbing in so many ways. I cannot wait to see what they've got planned for us for the finale.

I have not seen the show, but the books are very entertaining. My dad turned me on to the author last year. He taught a course in writing at the University near where my folks live and my dad was one of his students.

I didn't realize there were books. I have watched through episode 6 now, and it gets better as it goes along and we get a feel for the characters. However, due to the dark tone of the show, I would not recommend it for everyone.

The last two episodes have been extremely disturbing, but so well done. Seeing what happened to Dexter's real family was one of the most chilling things I've seen on a TV show ever. The season finale is Sunday, and I cannot wait.

NickBockwinkelFan: My girlfriend is reading the first book. She says it's got the same tone as the series, but a lot of things are very different.

He wrote Dogma, then made Clerks. Then he got offered a ton of money and made Mallrats. Then he went back to basics and made Chasing Amy. Then he finally had (in his words) the skill to do Dogma properly, and did. Then came J&SBSB.
