Devean was criminally underused in the last season, especially during the playoffs, since he was (as aforementioned) the only Laker other than Kobe with championship experience. I would have much rather seen the ball in his hands than Smush Parker's or Kwame Brown's.
With all due respect to Starbucks... I wouldn't hire Kevin McHale as a store manager at Starbucks, let alone the head coach of a professional basketball team. But I have to give him credit for helping to build a championship team in Boston.
