The documentary looks very impressive, at least based on the subject matter. The matches though, are a different story. I have the last two (Royal Rumble '92 and the Gimmick Battle Royal) on other DVD's already (both are great Brain moments though, and are a must have) but I'm not sure about the other ones.

Yeah, most of the matches where he was a 'sanctioned participant' were campy gimmick matches. It would have been far more interesting to have some matches where he was a manager.

Still, a must-have. I can't believe how much of the documentary stuff I immediately remembered watching in its original airing.

I can't wait to see it for the old AWA stuff which I grew up on HATING him, and also the tribute to Gorilla. I remember that, too, and thought it was very, very cool.

According to apperently Hogan's AWA World Title reigns count after all. Even though it really means nothing at this point that would technically make him the only wrestler to ever hold the WWE, WWF, WCW and AWA world titles respectively.
