My superfecta wagering will have some combination of the following horses: Barbaro, Private Vow, Point Determined, Sharp Humor and Sweetnorthernsaint. I really like Private Vow despite the odds and will be betting him across the board.

I let my group talk me out of Lemons Forever in the Oaks for our big Oaks/Derby double. The lowest payout for that is scheduled to be $900. Ugh.

If you're watching on tv, we are in Section 128 right where the horses take off for Derby or if you happen to be there, look us up, we won't be hard to find!

I am a Lawyer Ron man. I'm not going though....

How can you stand all the crowd? I guess you gotta love it.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

You guys are wrestling fans and you're *not* taking Sinister Minister? Sheesh.

I've never been to the Derby, either. Although most of the people in the infield probably aren't there for the race, really.

I'll take Point Determined for the win, Peter.

Would use the Lewis horse, Point Determined (5), as the board key in a trifecta. Would use that horse with contenders Sinister Minister (4), Barbaro (8), A. P. Warrior (10), Lawyer Ron (17), and Brother Derek (18). Wagers might look like this:

Trifecta
1st- 5
2nd- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18
3rd- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18

1st- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18
2nd- 5
3rd- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18

1st- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18
2nd- 4, 8, 10, 17, 18
3rd- 5

1 dollar trifectas would bring the total here to 60.

Had the 10 to win, exacta boxes of 10-4,10-5,4-5, and tri boxes with all three of those horses. Race has been over for 15 minutes, any of those horses finish yet?

I had selected Barbaro and Steppenwolfer as my exacta. First and third. I am glad I didn't wager any actual cash on the contest!

I do love it. We have seats both days so the crowd isn't too bad since quite a few people never even come to their seat until the actual Derby race. We rent a school bus to take us out there on Derby Day so we drink the whole way there, bet early, then enjoy our seats and drink the whole way home. Quite the experience.

I haven't had the Derby winner since Monarchos. Private Vow really let me down this year. I hit a trifecta on the 5th race and we hit a pick 3 on Oaks and Derby Day this year, so it wasn't all bad, but very few cashed tickets for the second year in a row now.

Already counting the days until next year!

ps. I didn't bet Sinister Minister because our group consensus was that Baffert was going to send him right to the front and try to tire out everyone but his two stalkers, namely Point Determined. Loved the name tho!

I love watching MMA live from Japan at 2AM. Even if, as 6AM approaches, I feel like I'm really insane for doing so. This show took place at the Saitama Super Arena. Matches took place in the DREAM RING. 1. MIDDLEWEIGHT (84kg) MATCH:
