Trent Lott was accused of “racism” for stating that “When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over all these years either.” All race agitators accused him of being a “Confederate”, a “segregationist”, and a “bigot” for his statement. No Republican senators or really ANYONE from the republican party chastazed him for his remarks. it wasn't untill the media got hold of the story and ran with it did anything happen to him.
James Moran's comment was "if it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war with Iraq, we would not be doing this." which is just plain ignorant of him, in my opinion. He's being thrown to the wolves by everyone from the republicans to his own party members.
Why is Moran being shitted so badly when Trent Lott was being sheltered?
