Wow, if you're watching the NFL you are missing the real game tonight. At the half:
Louisville 38 Middle Tennessee State 35
Jesus I've never seen such horrible defenses. That whole Louisville national title bus is headed the wrong way down a one way street at this point. And even though they've giving up yards, MTS is putting on huge hits and it seems to really be getting to Louisville. The WR's are dropping passes left and right before they even get hit now. If their offense can keep this up the defense may just beat Louisville into submission.
Only saving grace for Louisville is they have an extremely soft schedule until the end of October. Last month will be there downfall, but they should survive into November in spite of the defense. In other things from Week 2: Thank you for appearing in the polls Georgia. We have some nice parting gifts for you. Think Spurrier gets sick every night that he had Florida beat in the Swamp last year except for his special teams? Now, the theory has always been that a great defense will stop a great offense. However, what happens when the inverse occurs, and instead we get a putrid offense vs. a putrid defense? I guess we'll find out next week when the Movable Object of Michigan hosts the Destructable Force known as Notre Dame. I know it is in Licoln this year, but I can't see Nebraska holding off USC next weekend. Either Oklahoma is scary good, or Miami really sucks. Probably some combination of both, but always nice when someone hangs over half-a-hundred on The U.

Yeah it seems Miami has an even longer way back than FSU, which is saying something right now. The ACC as whole looks to be dominated by Georgia Tech and Boston College this year. Ok then.
OU looks pretty damn good though. I think they have a winnable schedule so I wouldn't be suprised if they play USC for the title. Nebraska will get rolled by OU.
