Have you looked at the type of threads we have in here? Most of them aren't even worth the responses they get.

No, what you said was "one roomful of guys doesn't contribute a meaningful contribution when securing a nation the size of California with 20 million people."
So, you said they were not meaningful, so I asked if thier deaths, sacrifices, and contributions, didnt really count.
AS one of the very few who posts here who has been in a combat situation, I can tell you that no matter where you are from, when you are wearing Kevlar vests, helmets, carrying 60 pounds of gear and a weapon, and have things go BOOM around you, everybody who is around you, and is helping out your cause is giving 'meaningful contribution'. Its like saying a Navy Seal team isnt meaningful, because of thier numbers. And, yes, the Polish Special Warfare guys are the ones over there, killing and capturing people on behalf of the coalition.
Meaningful as in being a substantial amount of coalition forces relative to others, not "meaningful" as in their sacrifices made towards furthering the goals of the coalition. You're making it an emotional point when I'm talking statistics. | Eddie Famous

Originally posted by Malarky Again, the only reason Poland is there is for political cover for the States, and prestige for Poland. It's all politics, and the GOP trying to make hay out of this just goes to show that they have precious little to throw in Kerry's face from the first debate.
Could it have POSSIBLY been that the Polish government sent their SPECIALISTS in because they wanted to help and believed in the effort, as their government has repeatedly said? Or should we all once again believe this stuff you just made up?
It's much easier to say that the only reason Canada isn't there is because they're making increasing efforts to try and build credibility in Europe...(not that that is necessarily true).

Of course it's possible, but I believe otherwise.
