So, last night I decided it was finally time to order an NWA show. The promise of an all X-division ppv was very tempting, since I like the wrestlers in the division, and I've heard good things.

I cued up a tape to record, but when the time came to order, I found that Comcast, my cable provider, was completely retarded and somehow, the order didn't compute. So I didn't get to see it. Instead I was forced to comtemplate suicide because I ended up watching the finale of American Idol.

Did anyone here get a chance to see it? Was it good enough to warrant my hunting down a tape?

Considering the WWE product post-Summerslam, I'm in need of something good and new, wrestling-wise, but I guess the cable company didn't agree. :(

ehhh...if you've seen one Styles-Lynn match, you've seen all 412 they've shown on TNA. Seriously though, it was a little less action and a lot more filler and bad interviews than I had hoped. But, still some unbelievable action from the SAT, the flying Elvises, Low Ki, Lynn, Styles and the rest of the lil kneebiters. And the one biggest selling point...not ONE Don Harris match on the card. I recommend getting your hands on a copy.

You might be better off getting a tape of some of the shows themselves, as it sounds like last night's show had a lot of match clipping.

Last night's show had a decent amount of clipping, and really was designed more as a get-to-know-the-X Division show than as a spotlight just for the great matches. There was still some mind-bogglingly good stuff on there, but also a lot of interview time. If you can get a tape without too much trouble it might not be a bad idea, but it's definitely not something to hunt high and low for.

And someone tell me how Lo Ki hasn't become the greatest promo guy on the planet? That voice would make me piss my pants in fear just having read me the Soup of the Day or something.

You never know when you'll meet that special someone... the someone that's mysteriously blind to your flaws. or, you know, stupid enough not to realize that yes, you really are that cynical.

Behind Killings of course, right?? I absolutely never in my life would have believed Killings could entertain me, much less be half the reason I continue to tune in to these shows. The WWE dropped the ball on this guy with that terrible rapper gimmick.

The DirecTV Group is 34% owned by Fox Entertainment Group, which is approximately 82% owned by News Corporation Ltd. (mostly unrelated press release) You're right, which means my reasoning is wrong.
