Whenever I go over to my buddies house to watch RAW, it never fails that at least one, usually more, non-wrestling fan ends up watching. They usually break out the "you know this stuff is fake right?" and "yeah like that would hurt, getting hit by a fake cinder block" etc. Then there's the people who'll bust out "insider" knowledge like "you know, the first Undertaker is dead," and follow up with what old wrestler they need to bring back. I've also found for the first type the best way to get a sense of closure over their comments is to watch a movie like the Matrix with them and the whole time say things like "oh yeah, like that would get hurt getting shot by a fake gun that's not really loaded with bullets." The quicker witted ones will get the point.
There's been a few changes since then according to Meltzer. I don't know all of them, but it was a few things, like Undertaker actually knowing going in to the show about the double-cross, as opposed to what was implied before.
