Am I confident about it? Yes. The format is simple, there's no conflict between people involved (you're reaching if you say the "Banker" is a person) and Howie Mandel will hit his stride at the next tapings... PLUS, there's episodic drama with this show (compared to Weakest Link, which was a one-play per episode, and twenty/one, which, well, sucked), which I think helps a game show.
As well, getting calls for when the show is going to be back on doesn't hurt, either.
Here's hoping it works, since even if it stays at its current levels, it will open the door for the genre again hopefully.

I'm sensing a major flaw in that premise.

Every episode had at least four obvious overdubs, and these were caught not just by me (broadcasting major with experience listening to Michael Cole) but by my mother (50-something with one half of one good ear).
This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size. | ManiacalClown

Most of them were things explaining concepts of the game, though, so maybe those will go away in the future.

Seeing where they had to ADR (read: edit) a ton of stuff in as Gugs pointed correctly out, and seeing how nervous he was in the first episode plus hearing from audience warm-up and announcer Randy West on another BBS how much was edited out from what Howie did, I think he will hit his stride.
I'm curious to hear your "flaw."
