Finally, someone gets EB what he deserves.

A high body count it appears there will be.

Line of the night: "Custer was a c*nt. The End."

My favorite line...

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read

"Bullock! Why are you beating Farnum in Mr. Hearst's hotel?"

It just reminds me how disappointed I am that there won't be a full fourth season. Just a great episode.

"Those of you who think you know everything are annoying to those of us who do."
David Brent, The Office

"Oedipus ruined a great sex life by asking too many questions."
Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report

"Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first woman she meets and then teams up with three complete strangers to kill again."

Yes it was a hell of a way to start the season, for sure. Jane rules and it looks like things will be crazy. I hope to hell they don't kill off Al, but we'll see.

Oh and what's up with the spoiler text??? The show's been on the air already.

I like to err on the side of caution, just in case someone didn't get a chance to see the show and is waiting for the replay. Yeah, they shouldn't be clicking the link if they don't want it spoiled, but I understand what it is like to have no self control.

I don't think they'll kill Al. It would be a huge mistake to off the best character on the show.

Al might be the best character, followed closely by Calamity Jane and, at least for me, Richardson.

I mean, Bullock starts wailing on EB and he goes straight for his antlers to shake. What's not to love about that guy?

The ever infallible Wikipedia has his name as Ellis Alfred Swearengen.

For me, Charlie Utter and Dan Dority are my next favorites, although Richardson is pretty great. Dority tough guy persona just cracks me up.

I understand the appeal of Richardson, though.

And for that, I thank you.

That was my favorite line as well - hell, it was my favorite moment of the series so far. Swearengen is hands-down the funniest and most cruel character in all of TV-land. Our British friends will already know that Ian McShane has long been considered a "big deal" for decades.

I'm liking the subplots, like the chance of Sol Star becoming Mayor?! Maybe I'm alone on that, but then I don't believe it will actually happen - should be interesting nonetheless.

Not so enthused about another addiction for Alma, but since Jane is taking on a bigger role, the former isn't so bad.

I pray for a speedy recovery to Farnum... and who wants to bet he turns on Al before the season's done? Oh my, the amount of blood that's about to be shed... this could get more murderous than season 3 of the Sopranos! I may regret saying this in a while, but I wish they'd just let Tolliver die in the finale of season 2. I liked that we didn't know if he'd survived or not... but another tryst with Joanie could prove itself tiresome.

Dan Dority, Swearengen, and Wu are my favorites. Dan's loyal to Al like a junkyard dog, and I love that. Wu cracks me up whether he's being serious or in a scene just for comic relief. And A.S. is the whole reason to watch this show.

Haha. :) You might laugh, but the first volume is pretty cool (and yes, I have the second volume on the way, and no I don't work for the company that makes them). I just like that they film actual fish instead of using CGI.
