Hip, hip, hooray! The new season starts in a few weeks. I love me some Deadwood. The fact that my wife is from SD doesn't hurt, either.

37? These are 34s...and they're loose. I gotta live with 37?

I just finished Season One. It took me quite a while to get through with my work schedule, but I found subtitles necessary to sometimes understand the actors better.

If there is a more enjoyable villain on TV right now than Al Swearengen, I'd like to know who it is. Swe'gen!

Season Two comes out on DVD in 10 days... not soon enough! I'm now hooked.

From what I took out of the article is that David Milch is looking to get out after the fourth season. Not necessarily that the whole show is going away. Might be a stretch, but someone else could take it over. I'd be surprised if they let a great character like Al Swearengen not get more time.

The article I read said that they weren't picking up the actors exclusivity deals after the third season. Anyone would be free to get a new gig - which kind of makes it hard to have a show.

Why does every party I attend have to be pooped on? Still, I will certainly enjoy this, if this is the end.

Ending Deadwood now really makes no sense. The show could have taken over as the flagship with the Sopranos coming to an end.

The Silver Linings Playbook is an infinitely better movie about crazy people.
