Actually it wasn't a drag race (assuming we are talking about the Selmer, TN incident). It was a parade on city streets. That's why the crowd is standing so close. The driver was apparently attempting an "exhibition burnout", and lost control.
FWIW, the video that I have seen in circulation is actually of the burnout prior to the car going into the crowd. No deaths are captured on tape, and you can find the video on news websites as well. Of course, with YouTube, there's no telling what kind of videos may be out there on that site.
The Bored are already here. Idle hands are the devil's workshop. And no... we won't kill dolphins. But koalas are fair game.
I thought the race finished as it ought to. Crashes happen and I wasn't shocked as to who was involved (Hi, Kyle ). Hell of a finish with Mark and Happy - and what I saw was cool to watch (I missed most of the last 60 laps)
