The worst fight of the three on the PPV card was the middle one, but the first and last fights were amazing.

True, but boxing will live and die in the public's eye based on the matches that draw. It's already been beaten to death in the media how bleak the future looks.

If there's a rematch between these two, count me out. During the last half of the fight, part of me thought, "These guys want it to go the distance solely for the sake of having another rematch." They're not idiots - they know how this works. They can't have a rematch if Mayweather had ended the fight. I don't blame them, but people aren't blind and they can see when the fighters are knowingly holding back.

The fight was just okay, but I won't be watching next time.

Mayweather couldn't have ended that fight if Oscar had dropped his hands and just stuck his chin out for Floyd. And that was not only the problem with the fight but what drove me nuts. I wanted to see Oscar just attack, knowing that Mayweather was not going to be able to do any serious damage with his little jumping and darting shots.

The fire De La Hoya displayed in the 12th round was fun, but too little too late. I'll pay to see Oscar fight again... just not against Mayweather. Floyd's reaction to hearing one of the judges favoring Oscar was priceless. I'd love to get a gif of that.

BTW, am I the only one who thinks De La Hoya's wife looks a LOT like Priscilla Presley?

Not a boxing fan, didn't see the fight, but my best friend Richard did along with a few of his buds, and eh, he found it to be kinda boring. Just a couple guys trading punches with no blood, no knockdowns, no knockouts.

I think a lot of more casual fans would probably agree. Heck even some diehards might. Personally I have always loved fighters like Mayweather. The quickness to dodge or block everything and throw punches that just can't be stopped. Frankly it freaks me out to watch. Very few have had that crazy kind of quickness to them and thus I can get more enjoyment out of what happened in this fight than most.

But yeah most people just wannna see knockouts and blood, which don't get me wrong I enjoy too. Isn't anyone that can do that really well that I like watching right now though.

Serena's also featured in Esquire's "Women We Love" issue. A nice change from all the petite blondes in tennis. (drool)
