Well, this movie was better than I thought it was going to be. It was scary, gross, kinda made you nervous, smart and campy. I'm not sure if I liked it better than '28 Days Later' or not, they both had very strong points.
One thing that should be noted as this DVD may have the best Bonus Material that I've seen on a DVD in a long long time. There are two, roughly ten minute, mini movies that show what was going on in pockets of the world while the movie was happening. These were very well done.
I liked it alot (I love disaster movies), but my best friend and I were two-steps ahead of the story all the way through. When they came up with the escape plan, I called the ending correctly at that moment.
Oh yeah, sit through the credits to get the ending.
And now, for a limited time only, it rhymes with "door hinge!"
I thought it was Ok also. But I have to disagree about the special features. I thought they were beyond horrible. Just the stupidest cheesiest stuff ever. I watched it with a group of friends, and while we all thought me movie was fine, we laughed all the way through those features. Maybe we were supposed to. I guess it was an original idea, as i've never seen special features like that, but terrible execution. Just so campy. I have been recommending peoeple watch the features at the Blockbuster where I work. So bad it's good I guess.
