Monday was the 14th anniversary of the first Ultimate Fighting Championship and Da Meltz celebrated it by showing off the fact that he has a paying gig writing about MMA for Y! Sports!

I like how in his VERY first sentence, he completely overhypes the impact of a PPV nobody saw on the ENTIRE American landscape.

On November 12, 1993, everything most Americans thought they knew about fighting was thrown out the window.

Good ol' Meltz! Still a true believer in the EM-EM-AY!

Man, I dunno. Between last Wednesday's intro to the IFL and tonight's supposedly best-of the last season show, they sure love the hard sell. I think they did like 20 minutes of hype before they even got to showing any ACTION.
