Since we're playing on his genetic strength, why can't we call him "Genetic Freak" Dave Batista?
Or would that upset that OTHER Genetic Freak?

| #33 Posted on 5.11.02 0618.32 | Many of y'all here prefer naming him just Batista... what if they were to go the other way and drop his last name? "Beware the wrath of DAVE!" "Ohmigod, King, it's DAVE... and business is about to pick up" "I am devestating, I am destructive, I am DAVE!"
I mean, if you're gonna go with the goofy name, then damnit, then go large with it.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that guy. He was cool, though - sort of like an imaginary friend, wasn't he? Maybe they should give Batista an afro, too. We need more monster heels with afros, that's what I think. | Rudoublesedoublel

| #37 Posted on 5.11.02 1116.00 | | I would have to argue that The Rock is actually Rocky Maivia (in WWE land) simply because that is how he was introduced. Due to his high self esteem, he christened himself "The Rock" (which is why fans chant "Rocky", they don't chant "The Rock"). I'm not sold on the Hurricane argument either because he is still called "Hurricane Helms" or Greg "Hurricane" Helms by the announcers on occasion. But, I do agree, that "Dave" doesn't fit as a menacing name, but you throw a nickname in there and you may have something. | The Amazing Salami

Okay, that's the funniest thing I have read this week. Dave the Giant...Ha ha.
Perhaps the WWE is phasing the entire Raw roster towards regular names. I hear that these changes are in order:
Larry "Triple" Helmsley Horatio Kane Ivan Goldust Jamal Lefkowitz Rosey Rabinowitz Rico Constantino (that name is great all by itself) Lukewarm Christian Victoria "Makes a menacing fist in Trish's general direction" Langwell
"Oh, a handful of change. I guess I can use this to go...um...buy some candy. So thank you for adding a step to my Halloween process"- homestarrunner
