Would be possible and/or easy enough to put a date next to the search results generated when searching using Y! or G?

You would have to ask Yahoo! and Google respectively - we are just a conduit for the text they're sending us.

(Tangent: Google *has* occasionally noticed that we're a message board and attempted to pull dates from some thread results and including them, but unfortunately they haven't figured out that we're using European style dates, so they end up saying things like "December 4" instead of "April 12." They also end up incorrectly saying "20 posts" no matter how many more posts than that might be in a thread because we break at 20 per page as a default and that's how many their bot sees. At the moment, it looks like that experiment with us isn't going on, because I can't find a way to do a search and show you.)

Yeah, but think of all the good the crazy, obscure, hard to read dates are bringing...

7 years later, it still bothers me.

I'm no longer in the prime advertising demographic, 18-34 men. No more "nuts and gum" for me. Edit: I was going through PMs today and saw that CRZ called me OLD on my birthday TWO YEARS AGO! I must be REALLY OLD now.
