The Wings have like 15 Hall Of Famers on their team and who's the star of the game?
Darren Freakin' McCarty.
And with a natural hat trick, to boot.
I hope this is a sign that the Wings aren't going to choke against Patrick the King.

I vaguely remember him winning a game with an amaing tally late in the third... - Surprised you didn't know that... www.Gordie.ca

The grind line of detroit won them at least one cup.. Yet when asked about it they play their role down, and joke like never been in that room, etc. These guys are just as important to a team like the Wings, and they all know it. *cheer* Darren!! The last natural hat trick in the playoffs belonged to Mark Messier in Game 6 against the devils in 1994.....perhaps an omen for the Wings ????? I look for someone on the Avs to call him out early tonight but hopefully they will wait until the 2nd period - I'll miss the first period do to the kid's bedtime stories Stylin' and Profilin' - Custom Made from Head to Toe.....courtesy of Michael's of Kansas City
You know you're getting old when guys you grew up watching are getting inducted into the Hall of Fame. And I have to agree with Dagent, LaFontaine was always one of my favorites. Always a class guy and a joy to watch.
