This is the main thing that scares me about the future of the Lakers. It's not like the Lakers have any cap room to sign good free agents anyway, but even if we did Kobe would scare them all away! I dont think anybody wants to play with him. Deffinitely not another superstar, because he's shown that he cant/doesnt want to share the spotlight. I dont think he can even handle playing with a decent #2 (In the "Scottie Pippen" position, if you wheel) because he cant share the ball!
What a mess.

If Kobe really WAS the next coming of MJ, I'd figure him for, say, 64 points. For Kobe, I figure 42 on 14-37 shooting, and a missed three-pointer at the buzzer.

Given how bad this season went, Laker's management will probably give Kobe one - maybe two - more seasons before doing something drastic. The fans are only going to take so much - and they're already starting to show their frustration.
It'll be interesting to see if Kupchak survives the offseason.
