MIAMI BEACH -- Detroit Pistons center Dale Davis was charged with assault and disorderly conduct in an altercation with police that saw him shocked with a stun gun, but the player's agent said he plans to sue over police treatment.
Davis was arrested Tuesday at a Miami Beach hotel and was accused of threatening security guards and police and leveling profanities at them, a police report said.
Weeeeell, if the article is accurate, then it sounds like police did everything they could NOT to use the taser. What it doesn't say is what Davis did to draw attention to the police in the first place outside of what the charges are, which is pretty vague-looking without proper detail.
"I don't know if it's Biscayne Boulevard or where it is, but there is an image in my mind about the symbolic championship parade."
Jason Collins hasn't played more than 49 games in a season since 2007-08. He has career averages of 3.6 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 0.9 APG, and even that PPG average is deceiving, because his season-high was 6.4, back in '04-'05.
