| #101 Posted on 12.2.03 2129.32 | I first started watching wrestling after college in '98. Hennig first came to my attention when he was feuding with Dean Malenko in the fall of that year (right before they reformed the horsemen). He just seemed like such a dick, I loved it! Also really enjoyed his match with Flair on Thunder after Flair won the belt at Uncensored '99. Very under-rated during his WCW run, I thought. Not from a workrate stance but just for being a guy who was fun to watch. Damn.

| #102 Posted on 12.2.03 2153.30 | Instant Rating: 7.33 | One of my favorites all time. Great wrestler, great entertainer. Count me in with the crowd who liked Summerslam '91, and count me as one of those who liked it when if he lost he'd be fired out of WCW, and he kept on losing but in ways that'd let him keep his job. Curt Henning will be missed.
For him I say;
"I am who I say I am. And I say, I'm perfect".

"Maybe one day Vorrik, but not today. You really should have thought twice about this gambit of yours--especially if you didn't have the resources to pull it off in the first place. "We have no intentions of surrendering--not now, not ever. You may win the occasional battle against us, Vorrik, but the Empire always will strike back. That I promise you".

I just don't know what to say here that hasn't already been said. I didn't really see his old WWF run. My first memories of Hennig were the nWo and the West Texas Rednecks, and those were consistently the highlights of pretty bad shows.
RIP Curt, you'll be missed.
