The Bulls dealt center Eddy Curry to the New York Knicks on Monday, ending a contentious negotiation in which the team insisted the restricted free agent take a DNA test over a heart problem.
Details TBA offically tommorow, maybe sooner elsewhere. The Bulls had been backing off the deal because they didn't want to take on contracts, but Paxson was apparently very unhappy announcing the deal, so I'm guessing it didn't work out.
Good luck Eddy - I didn't think it'd work out, but never thought it wouldn't work out like this. Don't go dying on me now.

I'm not a huge Curry fan, but he gave us a legitimate scoring threat in the low post (no rebounding, though). I love Tyson Chandler's energy and hustle, but he can't shoot to save his life. I've seen Isiah get swindled time after time since he's been with the Knicks, so hopefully Pax pulled off a good deal for the Bulls. Michael Sweetney and Tim Thomas? Maybe some draft picks? Seems a little suspect when he won't announce the details, though.
