| #1 Posted on 3.1.02 0400.42 | This was the first HeAT I had watched in a while, since I care not for Cole and even less for Tazz and his "witty" ways.
No point to that, but here's one- Cubs mentioned the editing of Test's entrance video, and something I had seen gone largely unnoticed- Test in his old short tights.
Sure, he looked gumpy enough alone just by wearing them, but in a portion of the video that usually gets airtime on SmackDown in the intro window, there is footage of Test doing the Ball Cleavage Scraper, which is also known as Big Tall Guy Proves He Is Big tall Guy By Stepping Over Top Rope. And the piece of footage they use is not only of Test not doing this without looking like a total clutz, it's also spliced in the middle with some "TEST" screen or whatnot so that the clip looks even shittier and more embarassing for Andy.
Long standing rib on Test and his horse-faced self, or poor video editing? Eh, who cares.
Yeah, Rhyno did come off as a total weird ass. His closing comment about being more intense, was most certainly supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but the crowd pretty much no-sold it and left him looking like even more of a goof who got dressed in a dark closet.
And someone needs to do a pre-interview with these guys, especially ones who never get mic time and refer back to LOGIC, because Rhyno EXPLAINING what happened to him (storyline wise) is probably the LAST thing they want to put out there.
And then they remember it's HeAT and don't really give a shit.

| #2 Posted on 3.1.02 2108.00 | I *think* they're just lazy about editing videos for undercarders. Last I noticed, Lance Storm was still using his old WCW one, so obviously it isn't much of a priority (unless they happen to have a new look, I guess.)
Of the two stories that were presented, Rhyno's "I was suspened, so I took some time to get surgery" was much better than Cole's "He's hurt? Didn't you know that?" one, but they really should rehearse these things instead of just figuring out what funny lines they want to squeeze in.

It's WCW booking 101... For example, if Ernest Miller is going to face Chris Benoit for the TV Title - then the announcers WILL tell you so at the top of the program. The Cat will undoubtedly come out and challenge any champion in the back (thus an OPEN challenge) even though we already know he's facing Benoit.
Who needs rehearsal? Spontaneously saying things will NEVER lead to a foot in the mouth.
If Rhyno was suspended from The Alliance, then why is he on WWF TV? I suppose however I could be asking the same of about a dozen performers who are back without any explination though.
