MLB says that they will continue to try to get Cuba in. Otherwise, Cuba will be replaced with either Nicaragua or Colombia.
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.
I don't know about this, actually. If, for the sake of argument, Cuba is allowed to participate, what of the Cuban defectors? I don't see Orlando Hernandez or Jose Contreras pitching for Cuba and I don't see the Cuban government allowing them to come back for a one-shot, so is it truly a representation of Cuba's finest?
I'm not saying Cuba shouldn't be allowed in, but this is just something to think about.
The A's "oh wait we're hitting .250 offense" features nine starters, the lowest of whom is hitting .266. Durazo and Kotsay are .300+, with Hatteberg and Miller over .290. They've got an outside shot at having six guys with 20+ home runs.
