So that Walter Gordon's accomplice thing they hyped so much before the season never went anywhere (interesting), huh. His daughter told Nick it was a plot and committed suicide and that was it? Did I miss something?| Promote this thread! | | geemoney

I'll second that- I just can't stand Sara. So unlikeable. If anyone should be getting together, it's Grissom and Catherine. But Sara? That's gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth all summer.

On another note, was anyone else disappointed with this season ender?? I had expected more... The whole Brass being shot thing probably should've been a hanger for the off-season.
It just seemed like another show for me. Nothing special

There were even episodes this past season that were better than this. The only thing we 'stood around the water cooler talking about' was how this episode was not up to par with past finales.
I'm laughing at that whole, go to the CSI website on CBS and look at that picture. "There is always a clue", or whatever they said. ZZzzZZzz...
All that, for Brass' sorry skank daughter to show up, with her hand out. Actually, I thought the last scene was Grissom in a hotel with her, but we FINALLY get Sidle and Gil together-- and no one cares. It was too little too late.
There's always next year.

The Clue thingy on CBS.com, if you zoom on Grissom he looks over to the direction of Sara, and she looks his direction if you zoom on her, so yeah, that, and they didn't really do anything but occasional awkward moments between them this year to set this up, seems really outta left field.
I like Sara though, consider me the minority.

I'll give them this much, they've got a great fan-desired-relationship nickname. Better than "Jam" on The Office or Veronica Mars' "LoVe." Yes, it's "Grissom Sara Romance," or "GSR." | Evil Buddha

Yeah. Early on in the season, Gordon's lawyer was found dead in the parking lot of her office. Gordon's daughter was the prime suspect, because she had been paroled by that time. Archie the sound guy kept analyzing the tape, and discovered that the lawyer was Walter Gordon's accompalice. The lawyer also embezzled all of Watler Gordon's money, which should have gone to his daughter. So the daughter killed the lawyer in anger/for revenge. The last we saw of the daughter, she was trying suicide by OD in a motel room. I can't remember if she was revived or not. Anyway, yes, they wrapped up the storyline.

I didn't like this either. I just always thought Grissom was carrying on an unspoken tryst with Mistress Heather until it came to a grinding halt with the vengence episode this season.

'kay, I remember all that. I just felt like, with the preseason buildup and the fact that it was a continuation of such a huge deal on the show, Walter Gordon's Accomplice should've been more epic. Or important in the slightest. Instead it was just, "Walter Gordon's Accomplice was ... this 'vic.' Oh, okay." |
