Geez, that sounds painful.
Yes, please let me know, so I can get out of the way first...

I agree with everyone here but it would have been an interesting conversation had CRZ agreed to the request:
Tourist- Hey dude, are you praying for the 9/11 losses?
CRZ- Why yes, I am in the middle of saying a prayer to Buddha for Fazzle. Then I have to switch and pray to God for BDC and DMC. I still have who_lame, Net Hack Slasher, Maniacal Clown (he's a fan of Gangrel you know), and some person who goes by the name of Travis to pray for. Now if you'll excuse me...

If CRZ's a pretentious dumbass for digging Pokemon and the Kings and having a long-distance girlfriend, you're going to think I'm the epitome of childishness, Kidbrooklyn:
I subscribe to X-men and Spiderman, and look forward to them with glee. I also subscribe to National Geographic. I play Dungeons and Dragons and Gamecube. My favorite shows are Monday Night Raw and Emeril Live. I love MST3K and the Powerpuff Girls. I use a telescope. I garden. I'm a Star Wars MANIAC. I dig the Steelers.
I think YOU SUCK for dissing a guy about his preferences. So if you think Pokemon is gay, I say YOU ARE GAY, and FUCK YOU.
Also, what the hell are we supposed to pray at Ground Zero? Not to be a jerk, but the people who are dead are already dead. They have made their decisions. My prayers for them won't matter for crap as to where they spend eternity. Pray for their families? I'm sure God is helping them along fine without prayers from a stupid, gay Star Wars fan. I've just never understood this weird, morbid, human fascination with praying at places like that. PRAY AT HOME, it's just the same. Does God hear us more just because we're at a certain place? And didn't Jesus warn against praying on street corners so others would see you? Now I sound like a jerk. Oh well. People like you really piss me off. CRZ, I guess I'm one of your "sheep" because I really like the site and your recaps.

I pray to no God. The way I see it, if there is an all-powerful all-controlling God running the show, it's his will that people like CRZ and myself exist... It's his will that people died on 9-11. Horrific, yes...but didn't it teach us all something? Well, it taught MOST of us something. There's more important things to bitch about that whether or not CRZ sez a frickin' prayer for a bunch of people (us) he's never met. Now, let's all get our acts together and focus on what's important...

While I agree with the CRZ on the "Gay" thing (when did it become in vogue to say "that's Gay" again anyway? And when did it separate itself from having something against actually being Gay?), I have to say that white men should never EVER be allowed to say "you either feel me or you don't."

hmm good question...i only heard about that phrase in the past year or two, well after the "NOT!" craze.
I picture the NYC request and response like asking someone to visit the Princess Di crash site in Paris or that rasslin' restaurant in Times Square. If that's part of your plan to accept requests (prayer or other topics) from your bboard community (e.g. "I'm going to NYC, any ideas on what to do there?") then go for it, otherwise whatever...it's a big city and a big world.
As some may know, I'm a practicing Catholic. Personally, I have prayed for the victims of 9/11 many times. As had the girl I'm somewhat seeing right now (long story), and she's a practicing Baptist.
We both agree that although the 9/11 attacks were devestating, it's being dramaticlly overkilled right now. We both think that it's being over-saturated in the media, which is killing the impact of what happened. I turn on CNN, and the ticker is all about "War on Terror" and 9/11.
Now you see, we all have different perspectives on all of this. CRZ is a citizen of the USA, who was touring the NYC area and didn't lose anyone he may have loved during the attack. You are a NYC native, who lost loved ones in the attack. Myself....I am a graduate of TV=Broadcasting. I am a member of the media, and I know how they work. And I can assure you, KB, that a lot more people are tired of hearing about it. The media slant is a simple one; they can cover it still all they want, because the people in NYC will get INSENSED with rage if people complain about over-saturation. Because after all, they lost loved ones.
I can undertsand this reaction, but personally I think that by doing such blatent personal attacks on someone who every well may have prayed for them in the comforts of their own home actualy defiles the memories of thse who you loved. I think they would expect you to pick up, move on, and not resort to such things like a verbal fight with the owner of a wrestling message board.
Lame payback my friend. Your personal attacks do nothing to help you fallen comrades, they rather show your insecurity.
"Fuck the Kings, fuck everything you stand for, and FUCK YOU. "
Is this how you proudly bear the legacy of those you love and have fallen? I'm sorry, but you're doing them a dis-service.
And finally, why go to ground zero to pray for the victims? If CRZ wanted to, he could just as easily go to a Church in NYC and pray.
It took 15 years. In my last semester of school ever. But I finally did it. The kid who was supposed to barely finish high school has received an A minus average. This makes me want to go back home.....see all those teachers in high school, my former class mates. And eventually (if I ever see him again), my father. All those people who said I wouldn't cut it, that I'd be nothing. And that I probably wouldn't make it past high school. I want to see them all. And I will enjoy shoving all those comments down their respective throats with a hot branding iron.
no use in getting on CRZ's case for not praying for many, many people he never knew and will never meet.
if you asked me, i'd just tell you to go shove some ice up your ass...
1) do you know if he's religious at all? 2) if he is, why should he pray for people he never knew? 3) why should he do anything we ask? it's either a yes or no answer. he chose "no"... 4) I don't pray or even care about the people who died in Virginia at the Pentagon...never met them, and their death doesn't affect me one bit. A plane being used as a missle does, but i'm abivalent to the loss of life. & 5) my favorite point, if there was a god, why didn't he stop the attacks, oh yeah let me guess, he works in "mysterious" ways....rrrrrrrrrrrrright...

I am never disappointed when I ask for advice/information here on the W, so hopefully somebody will know the answer. Here's the scoop. My car was previously (before I bought it) totalled for a front end collision.
