President: Aaron Russo (russoforpresident.com)
Senate: Gail Lightfoot (lightfootforussenate2004.org)
State Senate: Michael Laursen (votelaursen.org)
Judge: Griffin Bonini (bonini4judge.com)
Judge: Teresa Guerrero-Daley (teresaguerrero-daley4judge.com)
There wasn't an LP candidate in two contests. (Geez, they never ask ME to run - must be because I won't give 'em any of my money)
Interestingly, one of my former (current? Who can tell at this company) coworkers is running as a Libertarian for state assembly, but not in my district (electcollier.org). He's running unopposed, so I bet he wins the primary. 
You know what's scary is when a guy runs and the *Libertarian Party* says, "uh oh, this guy's too extreme for US." That's Michael Laursen's opponent, John Webster (jwebster.com). Apparently he called me while I was at work on Sunday, which is too bad, because I would have loved to have asked him "Seriously, why should I vote for an insane man?"

If I remember my recall headlines correctly, I believe Santa Clara was one of the very last counties to get their touchscreens installed.

The set of machines at the poll up the hill from my house was not working, so there were people trying to vote provisionally at my poll. I hear this was more of a problem at other places.
It went OK - I didn't like that when you chose a vote you couldn't click on the new person if it picked wrong, you had to pick the same person again and then pick the new one. That's bad UI.
I did not write a candidate for the presidential primary. Apparently, I could have chosen either my N/P registration or my Rep registration -- who knew I could be registered twice?

I'm pretty sure our Presidential primaries are non-binding, though, so it's ultimately a "pointless exercise."
Delegates to the national convention will be picked next weekend at our State Convention (ca.lp.org). Even though it's in San Jose, are they nuts?! I can't miss WrestleMania!
