The more I thought about the premise of this show, the more it worried me. Crank calls can be funny; puppets can be funny. But putting them together seemed like an odd match. The calls are the core of the show -- if they were that good, would they need to throw in the puppets as a hook?
I was caught up in doing some other things (okay, "other things" == Sega Dreamcast) last night, and switched over to the show for about three minutes. The skit didn't impress me (something about calling a hotel trying to get rooms for the Wu-Tang Clan), and I went back to playing games.
Anyone watch the whole thing, and did I miss anything good?

all i know is some states, like maryland, have wire-tapping laws that would make recordings illegal unless both parties are informed. for example, radio stations here would make crank calls to celebs and when the phone picks up they do a quick "HelloYouAreOnTheAirOnWHFS"
That chick that taped lewinsky, that ugly one whose name escapes me, would have gotten jail time if the feds didn't give her immunity because the calls were in maryland...the state wanted to charge her but the fed's immunity superceded them and the state was pissed...

I caught much of the show in between the my channel surfing last night and wasn't impressed. The premise of crank calls can get tiresome after a while...although i have to admit i really laughed at the skit where a deaf man used a helper to have phone sex. All in all, after all the hoopla they gave the show, I don't think it will survive after summer.

linda tripp...and calling her a "chick" is being awfully generous.
Marge: Mr. Scorpio, this house is almost too good for us. I keep expecting to get the bums rush. Scorpio: We don't have bums in our town, Marge, and if we did, they wouldn't rush, they'd be allowed to go at their own pace.
