I guess insinuating all Dominicans are stupid doesn't go over well.

No link? No source? No context? No references? I hate the way you start threads. #tomvejada

Sorry I thought the link had posted. I regret disappointing you. Maybe, you know, if you hate my threads, don't open them.

Can't say I ever cared much for him since I think I first heard of him in the wake of Eddie Guerrero's passing. (The W)

Lately, he was one of the more vocal ESPN voices criticizing the network for airing Heroes of the Dorm. I'm tired of him serving as a representative of the old guard the eSports needs to win out against, and him being gone is one more victory in that regard.

The article said something about him already having announced he was leaving the network, so I guess there was no point in ESPN defending him if he had one foot out the door.

I don't wish unemployment on anyone, but I hope that wherever he goes it is somewhere that never crosses into my attention.

The only reason I listened to him was because it was the only ESPN Radio show left that talked college football much. His opinion of himself and habit of telling everyone "how it is" was annoying.

He was a bandwagon jumper. He loves all the top teams or players and has no time for underdogs. His comments on Eddie should have gotten him fired. Instead, ESPN just letting him go early. He will fit right in at Fox with those comments.

Same. Plus the 4Letter got rid of Mr. Tony for him (seemingly).

Didn't SVP & Russillo talk college football quite a bit? I assume Russillo will continue on with that. Plus there's the Paul Feinbaum show which is pretty much ALL college football talk, well if you like Alabama and/or SEC football mostly. The 4Letter podcasts those shows and Feinbaum is simulcast on the SEC Network.

They do sometimes, but I guess I miss how it was years ago when they had several shows talk a lot of college football. I can't even remember the guys name but he used to have a show on there and then went to host NASCAR stuff. Talked College ball all the time.

I can't deal with Feinbaum.

But I just tune to the College sports station these days. They have some crappy hosts at times, but at least I hear what I'm interested in.

The fill-in hosts for this week are 2 local LA guys. They've been on the air here for about 20-ish years. I like the local everyday version of their show a lot. The "national" version is just ok. No word on what's happening with Cowherd's spot next week.

Speaking of Colin, the fill-in hosts keep reminding us that they are only fill-in hosts for the week, but almost ZERO mention of who they're filling in for. I guess that's sort of standard procedure for ESPN, but still kind of weird.

Well, I was on the fence on watching this season, after being disappointed with Season 5. But it looks like the writers are much more organized this time, so I'll give it another go.
