Girls in Cars were for the other pretty boy tag teams (who I also liked) Strike Force with Tito Santana and Rick Martel.

I thought Girls in Cars was a cool song (long time ago lol)... Actually knowing Jim Powers luck he probably was going to get that cool song along with the title reign that came with it but when he heard the news he pumped his fist and yelled "Yeaaah" and then management decided to give the song and push to Strike Force lol. Poor J Powers it always goes wrong after the pumpfist/yeaah combo

Everytime a thread like this comes up someone mentions that Steamboat worked as a heel in Japan. Not that I know that from actually watching him do so, just something I've picked up.

I remember Jimmy Hart having a promo on Superstars or some such explaining that the Stallions had stolen his song. Did anything actually come of that? Like a Hart Foundation / Stallions feud?

Remember when Vince Russo tried turning Ricky Steamboat into a heel last year in TNA? HA! That Russo is such a genius!

Well, actually, compared to Vince McMahon, he IS!

Remember when WWF treated RVD like the main-event star he is?
Neither do I.

I thought about Steamboat in TNA but I couldn't remember what went on exactly. He had confrontations with Ron Killings, a heel, so I figured he was just a frustrated baby (like Foley at the end of "Who ran over Austin?")

Not only has he been a face, he was a face when he became Rev. Slick.

Was he really? I wasn't watching much WWF when he came back in the late 90s - is that when? I mean, I never saw him not being a heal manager.

Doesn't surprise me though.

He was.

WWF did a "Where are they now" on Slick, saying he was a reverend. Slick even cam on SUperstars to talk about it.

When Kim Chee and Harvey WHimpleman turned on Kamala, Rev. Slick came to his aid. WWF produced many vigantes of Slick trying to "humanize" Kamala. Slick even taught Kamala to speak!

Aparently it was all for nothing. At the Gimmick Battle Royal, Kamala was back with Harvey & Kim CHee and acting like an amimal.

So, someone check me... What we've come up with is:

Rick Rude - Heel
Rey Mysterio - Face

Everyone else with any sort of career longevity in a quasi-major fed has been both at one time or another (convincingly or not).

If true, that's astounding.

Actually, Rick Rude did some face work during his brief stint in ECW.

I remember a closing shot of WWF Superstars or something that had Rev. Slick preaching to the church while Bobby Heenen, Vince McMahon and Gorilla Monsoon listened and sat with everyone else. Very strange.

Maven has been a face his whole career. Also, Christopher Nowinski's been a heel his whole career, too.

It's really hard to imagine him ever being heel. (Famous last words, I know.)
