Next time CRZ is really bored, there are a couple of little, obscure features that I'd been thinking about (but that I didn't get into the end-of-year thread (The W)).
1) Have we considered an expiration date on the [ spoiler ] tag? it's only a spoiler til SmackDown airs on Friday night -- no real need to continue to show it as a fully obscured spoiler after that point.
2. You also broke your post with your anchor, I think (maybe it needs an </a> immediately following it?) but if you REALLY know what you're doing, I think you could just insert your anchor - or some equivalent raw markup, even - using the CKEditor. And you could do that already.
Speaking of the CKEditor, ...actually, let me go find the CKEditor thread and tack a reply onto there.

Damn! Sorry if I broke that. (Looked/looks OK in my browser.) I thought I put the < /a > after the rest of the "spoilers" block -- sorry if you had to tidy up after me.

(... Well, maybe on a good day ... :-) )

I'm thinking that the first scenario that falls to the ground is if the anchor isn't in a post that happens to be on the first displayed page of the thread. If it's worthwhile, after I get home ("Live from Las Vegas!"), I'll play with it some.
About the spoiler tags, I've noticed that they're not very touchscreen friendly. I've seen on other boards a click to view hidden text function for spoilers, is that possible here?

Can you give me an example of a site that uses this feature?
I have seen that on escapistmagizine.com 's forums. Doing a cursory glance, this post has one in it. If the link doesn't work right, it was post #13 in the thread.
There's an "Add New Reply" button, but it takes you to a page that says something like "You can't post here." I don't know exactly what it says because it redirects too damn fast.
