I would LOVE for him to bring back the WCW name and replace RAW with Nitro (set and all), to actually make the RAW v.s Smackdown battle interesting (even though we don't know what they're "fighting" over/for.) But then again, Vince didn't invent Nitro, and we all know how he markets things he didn't invent (NWO, anyone?)

Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Chris Benoit, Raven, the list goes on. You're right about this. The only time he will give someone a shot is when he feels he's done enough with them that they're now looked at "WWE Talent" like after the Dudley's were with them for a while (after doing nothing). It's like he thinks we're all sitting here thinking "Oooohhhh, the WCW guy beat the WWF guy! That MUST mean that WCW was better than the WWF!"

I was apparently drugged out or just have a very bad memory because I thought Vince gave Bischoff 30 days to "shake Raw down to it's foundation" but, I just watched the tape of Confidential from last night (loved the Arn Anderson piece, by the way) and Mean Gene claimed that Bischoff was given 28 days to sign Austin to a contract with Raw. So, I'm completely lost on the actual storyline.

They should have Bischoff claim he still has two days left and Vince shrugging him off. It IS his company, after all.

Remember when Vince came on the show and told Bischoff he had 30 days to turn RAW around or he'd here Vince say "You're Fired!!!!"? I bet one of McMahon's dreams about 5 years ago was getting to say that to Bischoff on live T.V. He sure looked like he was getting off on it.

Hey, Benoit was given a very good spot on Smackdown...and so was Jericho, two WCW guys who jumped ship before WCW sank like a stone. So, these guys are "WWF" guys now, and are treated as such...or so it seems from my side of the TV screen.

The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.

Apparently your side of the screen doesn't see Jericho being made to look like HBK's bitch while he isn't feuding with Test. Your side of the screen probably doesn't see Benoit being made to look like Angle's bitch either. Then again, I'm a bitter, opinionated Jerichoholic. Maybe I'm biased.

No, you're not crazy, the storyline writers are just inept (I know, big surprise, huh!) I mentioned that in this thread . Basically, they realized that it was going to have to be an even number of weeks (i.e. 28 days=4 weeks) if it was going to happen on Raw.

Did your side of the screen see Jericho decimate HBK in the Rumble? Sure, Michaels got him back, but that made sense and fit with Rumble tradition anyway.

I'm as big as a Benoit fan as there is but KURT ANGLE is the one in the Main Event at WrestleMania. Angle's the one been made to look a fool for most of his WWE career pre-Heyman. Angle needs as many clean wins as he can get leading up to his match with Brock. Benoit will have his run one day but now it's his job to make Angle look like a god and he's doing a damn good job of doing that.

That bothered me too. But I basically decided to write it off as Mean Gene getting the wrong memo. His is the only reference that's been made to the Austin signing being the pivotal point in Bischoff's tenure.

I do like the countdown clock though. And everybody in the company referencing it. :-)

The other thing that was bothering me this weekend was Coach's insistence that we "tune in to Raw on time -- don't miss the beginning of the show!" We'll see ...

emma, maybe I'm just neurotic about this continuity stuff but, I think they messed up with that Countdown clock also. Last week, 30 minutes into Raw, the Countdown clock was down to 6 days 23 hours and 30 minutes. That means the Countdown clock runs out exactly when Raw begins. Shouldn't the Countdown clock actually run out at the end of the show? Not that it's that big of a deal but, still.

I guess that gives me something to scrutinize tonight if the clock is inconsistent and doesn't run out at the beginning of the show.

MonteCarl's prediction is really the one that makes the most sense. It keeps heel/face alignments through all the way and it furthers the Booker/nWo angle.
