Having just read the thread from The 7 about Brock Lesnar's sudden, abrupt departure from WWE right after WrestleMania XX (man, remember the dueling crowd chants?), it makes me wonder if WWE will ever release a DVD of Brock Lesnar's greatest matches, or even if they'd be able to, given that he's currently with UFC.
And if they did do a Greatest Hits collection, would they give it the "Best There Is, Best There Was, Best There Ever Will Be" treatment, or the "Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" treatment?

Think that all depends on what he does after UFC. If they do, it's all on his actions afterwards, and I'd wager that if they released a DVD set at all, it'd be positive; there's no money to be made from burying the guy because he just isn't that alienating of a figure. (Besides, he didn't burn them for UFC, but the NFL.)

Is there anything beyond what's on the "Here Comes the Pain" DVD (The W at Amazon) that you really need to see/would merit inclusion in a new collection on DVD? Obviously his WM20 match is on the WM20 DVD. His other PPV matches are on DVD. I'm not sure you need anything more to have his WWE career pretty much covered, but maybe I'm forgetting something.

Eh, there were only six matches on the DVD. Just off the top of my head I can think of a WWE Title Iron Man match against Kurt on SmackDown, in which Brock deliberately got himself DQed to lose the first fall, by hitting Kurt with a chair. And then he continued beating Kurt with the chair during the rest period, and picked up two quick falls immediately afterwards.

* the Iron Man match * the title loss to Eddie * Brock vs. Angle at Summerslam 2003 * his matches against the Hardys at the start of his career * his King of the Ring '02 bouts against RVD and Test * Lesnar vs. Cena at Backlash 2003 * OVW stuff, perhaps that match when he busted out the Shooting Star Press for the first time * And of course, vs. Goldberg at Wrestlemania 20 for completion's sake, preferably with hilarious dubbed commentary by Cole and someone
That plus the matches from the original DVD, plus any random bouts from Smackdown against, say, Edge, Mysterio, Benjamin or Haas that I'm forgetting, and that's a solid DVD.

I have to disagree with Show and Foley just being side-pieces to the real show. Well, okay, I knew Big Show was going to lose first, but I didn't know what kind of a factor he'd be in the whole match.
