"1Wrestling.com and other IWC sites are reporting that Paul Heyman has been named head writer of this week's TV show for Ohio Valley Wrestling, the WWE developmental promotion from which Jim Cornette was recently relieved of his duties. When Cornette was recently on hiatus, Tommy Dreamer, Lance Storm and Al Snow were among those penning the programs. No word yet on whether or not this is a permanent move."

It's a good move in that this is the perfect setup for Heyman - a small promotion where he can make the guys look great. It's become sort of cliche to say it, but accentuating strengths and hiding weaknesses was always Heyman's strong suit. That being said, I have reservations as to how much that translates to actually developing the talent.

So, you're saying that someone who is skilled at booking talent might not be skilled at developing talent... very interesting differentiation.
I think the two overlap, but I sense what you're saying, and that's a great point.
To be fair, yeah, this party looked fun... But then again, most of Santino's parties haven't ended well. For a comedy wrestler, I don't think anyone ever got in as many sympathy spots as Santino.
