The current issue of Baseball America spotlights the major league GMS and there's a feature article in there on Billy Beane and his "new school" way of GMing.
Unfortuately, the Baseball America web site is a subsciber-site, so there's no link. Read it the old fashion way, in print.

| #2 Posted on 8.4.02 2119.39 | Thanks for the heads up. Billy Beane lived here for ever while in the minor leagues, so he is on the local ESPN radio affiliate with the former GM of the team all the time. He always seems like a heck of guy. I'm glad he is doing well.
