Seems like there are a lot of them.

US soldiers infected chinese people

There was a virus "factory" close to the Wuhan wet market
https://nypost.com/2020/02/22/dont-buy-chinas-story-the-coronavirus-may-have-leaked-from-a-lab/

and more than 21 million chonese have really died from covid
https://www.ibtimes.sg/china-hiding-covid-19-death-toll-21-million-cell-phones-disappeared-why-41580

what other conspiracy theories have you heard - and do you place any credence in them? There is a guy I respect who is a big believer in #2

me, no. It's just a thing

We have a little theory: My wife and I think we may have gotten it back in January.

It wasn't our traditional flu -- it wasn't a weeklong, and the phases were all wrong -- but it fit the symptoms most often cited. We hadn't traveled out of the country since June, and we went over the Atlantic. But we still mention that bout once a week or so among ourselves, wondering how long this virus may have been moving around, hitting people to different degrees.

My wife is wondering if she got it back in January as well. She came down with a wicked case of the flu that left her short of breath and really weak. Went to the doctor thinking she had a respiratory infection, but they told her it was likely viral.

My wife and I are sure we had it. Not as severe, but the same symptoms. My son in law got it the worst as it turned into pneumonia and he missed a week of work.

My favorite conspiracy theory, so far, is that the government used chemtrails to deliver the virus and they then used 5G cellular waves to "activate" the virus.

I guess it isn't a conspiracy theory exactly, but I am enjoying/hating the "it's just [this or that side politically)'s plan to ruin the {other side politically} posts.

here is one of my "friends"

Steve's stirs: Welcome to "I call bullshit Tuesday"
I call BS on: the shutdown what shutdown. My wife and I are working as many if not more hours than normal. Corporate greed and deadlines did not shut down. Spreadsheets and KPIs don't have a virus column. And so we do our extra stressed time at work (and yeah I know - we are the lucky ones) and then what - relax at a restaurant this evening, stop by the grocery, get my normal zen via walking around Home Depot? Nope. Working in a building is OK, but everything else done between four walls will kill us. Really? No worries, all that other stuff can wait. Yeah...wait until longline Saturday.
I call BS on stores closing early: no shopping after dark, less you become a victim. Uh it's a virus... not a vampirus. Either we is or we isn't shutdown. Either we is or we isn't open. Pick one so we can all be in this together - other than sharing a was-working / is-working broken spirit.
I call BS on the deniers: the economic deniers. No, I don't want to line people at the volcano-o-sacrifices. I'm simply saying that as our economy fails so will our people and so will our country. Denier say that if we can save one life, it is worth it. That "it" being the real sacrifice... of 330,000,000 healthy Americans. Deniers think the gov't has their back with $600 per week. Read the small print that says "up to." Man I pity the fool. And when I say a country full of healthy workers sitting at home is the real disaster, deniers hear echos of "soylent green is people." That's not what I'm saying... yet.
I call BS on unemployment. Workers should have been furloughed or frozen or deferred or something other than counted and labeled as "unemployed." The monthly stats should have two columns: those unemployed and those that the gov't has de-employed. It is two very different things.
And finally, I call BS on the media. They have continued to rerun the same story for 4 years now. I don't know if it is true of all writers, however the media's shtick has been to begin every ending with a story. What? OK, better said - they begin ever story with the ending. Every mainstream media story has one ending: Trump is bad. And now their self gloried Hillary-should-be-president goal is to simply fill in a backstory to match the ending they've been rerunning for 4 years. It's old. Really old. And makes less sense every day.
Non-BS moment: I'm not a fan of his show, but I did catch some of Tucker Carlson last night. He says what I mean - just a wee less dicky. Might be worth a read today. His words: "...it's time to start caring about the entire population. Healthy people are suffering badly, too."
Stay well and keep on stir'n!
