..and I'm SURE the timing of their engagement relative to mine is *entirely coincidental*. ;-)
Apparently Aaron popped the question while they were up visiting her parents in Seattle. CAN A WRESTLEMANIA WEDDING BE FAR BEHIND? I pulled for it but they weren't biting. Let's just hope we don't both end up scheduling for the same weekend!
Yeah!! Congrats Guru and P Funk! And yes CRZ, coincidence no doubt. (Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode: "There are no BIG coincidences or SMALL coincidences, there are just coincidences!")
Guru, I don't expect an invite to the wedding, since you didn't get one from me, but at least let me know when it is. Congratulations and I hope you have a happy life together making small, cynical German children.

Right on. Congrats, Guru!!!

If he doesn't get married first, it screws up the whole older-brother, younger-brother dynamic. It's for the best.
It seems that I am - in no particular order - Zack Morris, John Adams, a Siren, Aphrodite, Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel, Amy-Wynn Pastor, Hydrogen, Spider-Man, and Boston.

Man, Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman must be thinking "I didn't think these two (Chris and Aaron)would ever get married and now they'll be getting married on the same damn weekend!"
Congratulations, Aaron and Lise! All the best wishes to you!

Isn't that what happened to the Brady girls? Jan wanted to get married but Mr. and Mrs. Brady wouldn't allow it unless Marcia was married first since she was the oldest, thus leading to the ill-faited "Brady Brides" tv show?
What kind of parents would make a rule like that? What is this "The Taming of The Shrew"?
ummm...anyways, congrats!
Seattle sketch comedy fans, be sure to check out the dark new comedy show from "Flaming Box of Stuff"

Being that it's the holiday season and all, it reminds me of the movie "Groundhog Day," where the young couple in love gets tix to WrestleMania from Bill Murray. That movie rules, just like I know your lives together will rule!
Congratulations!
David Crockett sez it best, folks: "Look at 'im, Tony! Look at 'im!"
I wouldn't recommend a Wrestlemania wedding. Weddings at wrestling arenas tend to end badly. Although, if I ever get married (let's hope to god I avoid that fate), I think a honeymoon at Wrestlemania would rule.
Good Shit! Congrats. Now you guys will have even more common stuff to talk about (besides computers, html, php code, wrestling, sports and stuff). Best wishes to you all.
Congrats to Guru & P_Funk. May the sun shine on your endeavors.
From the infamous Wrestleline SS interview:
DTD: If you were to make changes in WCW, if you were in charge and not Ric Flair, what would they be?
SS: I'd get rid of all the old guys, and push the talent that has waited to get the push. The things they are doing, it's back in the 1980s. It's just bad, man. Flair doesn't even deserve to be on the show. You've got to get rid of all the old guys. Like what Vince did, they started pushing guys. Nobody knew who The Rock was 2 years ago. He made The Rock. Now The Rock just did Saturday Night Live. You've got to start with the young talent, talent people can relate to. Who are we trying to relate to if we've got a 50 year old man out there? Are we trying to relate, so a 50 year people and above will go out and buy a f*cking little toy? That ain't gonna happen. It's a f*cking joke.
