I've been lucky enough to know Rob for the past five years or so, and he's truly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I just wanted to take a second to wish him and his lovely new bride all the best for years to come.| Promote this thread! | | El Nastio

It was an absolutely perfect day. Flawless in all respects.
My feet are killing from dancing in rented shoes, so I'm sure there's leaning pictures out there. I'll send a link once they're up.

Rob - those pictures were outstanding! The church was very cool as was the reception hall. Where and what kind of church was that?
Thanks for sharing and best wishes on a long and happy marriage!

It's Rafter Six Ranch, just outside Canmore, Alberta. It's an actual working ranch and it's been around for about 150 years. On the grounds is the small pine chapel that really captured our imagination. Perfect scenery for a wedding.

It's a bit insane, really. We agreed to a second party in (my hometown) Toronto for my friends who couldn't make it out, then my parents took over and somehow another more formal dinner was created.
Thankfully, it's all over now. What an exhausting couple of weeks! | Oliver

Extra credit for the music. Was picking Doc Walker on the page your idea?
The beauty of the pictures and the music damn near brought me to tears. Bravo.

| #15 Posted on 5.8.08 1121.08 | Instant Rating: 7.90 | Mrs. Goon (hey, I can say that now!) and I had our first date at a Doc Walker concert, and I also proposed to her at another Doc Walker show just over a year ago, in the middle of "Rocket Girl". It was nice that Johnny (our photographer) picked that up and used it on the page.
I can't recommend him enough as a photographer. PM me if you want more details. |
