Looks like we were wrong about wrestler's being forced to shill a match of the company's choosing in the way the company chose...
Lance Storm replied on his comment board saying they gave him a list of matches to choose from and a list of suggestions (I'm presuming suggestions on what to say about the match) but that he wasn't required to use their suggestions. The only requirement was that he couldn't pick a match that had already been shown.
So we can now take turns kicking Rey Mysterio in the nuts. Anybody mind lifting him up so it's an easier target?
I think that segment could almost be a strong selling point for the show. There is clearly money in retro matches, but as long as they keep clipping the matches so badly it'll never work. I mean, last week they showed Demolition over Strike Force at WM 4, one of my biggest mark-out matches of all time. The match left alone only goes about five minutes, but they still clipped it down to about 90 seconds. Bullshit.

I don't see any chance of that happening. Would it be a good deal for TNA? Absolutely. But would WWE actually give them a plug on the air just in exchange to use Raven and Jerry Lynn for one night? I sincerely doubt it.
