I DVR Ferguson & Conan. I love Ferguson, & tend to watch 2-3 eps in one go. I'll watch Conan if he has an interesting guest, or if I've heard that there's a particularly funny bit. I'm not into political humour, nor do I care about Kardashians or who's at rehab this week, so I'm generally not much into the content of his monologue. (That's part of why I love Ferguson so much.) But overall I do still like Conan. I used to religiously watch Dave, but he's mostly fallen off my radar.
Never-never have been able to stand Leno.
I think Conan really wants to follow in the Carson footprints. Ever since he's been in The Carson Time Slot, he's been too concerned with following that model. I wasn't especially enamoured with the Masturbating Bear, but it was the kind of thing that you can do in the late-late time slot, but is unseemly in The Carson Time Slot. The same kind of thing happened when Dave moved up to The Carson Time Slot (with the lateral arabesque to CBS). When he followed Carson, he was much more edgy, weird & irreverent -- which I liked much better. Similarly, I'm concerned about Ferguson when he moves up into the Letterman time slot.
Speaking of Conan, I watched his show from Atlanta last night and Triumph interviewed some if the real housewives of Atlanta. I have watched this show with the Mrs. Before and it, along with all the other housewives, is the worst show on TV. Watching Triumph interview them made me laugh u fil I cried.
I screwed up the title. Why yes, some iTunes stores did have it available for LEGAL DOWNLOAD. Why yes, some websites did have it uploaded for viewing via less than reputable means. Huge episode. - The partner? BLACK BEETLE.
