In a feud over who made Mike Huckabee, Conan O'Brien and Stephen Colbert engaged in a war of words and Jon Stewart interjected himself shortly after.
It all came to a head last week on all three shows ("A" Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Late Nite with Conan) and devolved into possibly one of the funniest brawls since "Peter Griffin v. The Giant Chicken".
"Put on your helmets, we'll be reaching speeds of 3!" "It was nice of you to give that dead woman another chance." "All right, look alive everybody...oh sorry Susan."- MST3K: Space Mutiny Click Here (myspace.com)
It was a fun scene to watch all three feud throughout their shows. That said, I was rather dissapointed at the ending of the fistfight at Conan's. Knowing how he's been riffed on Late night with Conan AND he's a big supporter of Huckabee, it would had been perfect to end it with the one, the only... Chuck Norris. Have him come in, say some 'Walker' line, and then roundhouse kick all three to death.
This was just good stupid, over the top fun. I thought my 17 yo daughter was going to die laughing. Most of the time since they came back, I thought the shows have been pretty good, especially Colbert's "my writers killed the head of the Mormon Church" stuff. Bright funny guys having fun.
Because in the episode's final segment, that's what the guy says. Marwan calls, and the truck driver says he is "32 miles" away. It's possible that I'm hard of hearing, but I'm pretty sure thats what he said.
