I haven't been following this close enough to catch this. That's really unfortunate. In a lot of ways, Max was a bigger part of the show than Andy was. Do we know who's going to be the band on the new show?
Of course it's not "news". Is the Entertainment section of USA Today considered to be the bastion of hard news? It's part of the (worked) ad campaign. Personally I'm a fan of a publicity strategy that's a bit more subtle than "WATCH THIS SHOW! [/ Ollie Williams (spike.com) ]".
For Conan followers, it was the tweet (twitter.com) & Q&A (teamcoco.com) for Tuesday.
Conan's video was mocking the idea too, with him first saying Andy won't be a part of it and he hasn't seen him in a while, followed by Andy walking behind him mentioning there's cake in the next room.
Saw it this week, and the audience I was with laughed throughout the picture, though admittedly it was off the charts for the credits. The plot is simple as can be, but it's just plain funny, which is all I require from a comedy.
